I love YouTube. I'm totally addicted to watching funny videos while attempting to weed out the nastiness. I think it is a great resource for all kinds of things for libraries. Libraries can create celebratory videos, such as this one. In fact, I know the creator of this video and it took him some time to get all the footage and edit it, but it is fun to watch! Libraries can also tap in to YouTube to create informational and instructional videos about particular services that the library provides. The video format will make the instruction more fun for reluctant students. Here is a funny example!
In short, used properly, YouTube is a great tool for libraries.
